Alyson M. Stone

Alyson M. Stone is a clinical psychologist and certified group psychotherapist in private practice. She is a contributing author of the e-book Surviving to Thriving, and has been published in the academic journal Group. She is writing both a novel and a nonfiction book about religious trauma.

Amanda Ronan

Amanda is a former classroom teacher who currently writes curriculum for several educational companies. She is the author of the My Brother is a Robot series for middle grade readers. Amanda is currently at work on a cozy mystery that takes place in Austin, TX.

Kelly Mendiola

Kelly Willis Mendiola taught Rhetoric, Composition, and Creative Nonfiction at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, for twelve years.  She writes essays and poetry.  She would someday like to write a book about growing up Mormon in rural southwest MIssouri.

Nichelle
Staes

Nichelle Staes is a program manager with a global retailer. She is a member of the Writers League of Texas and is writing a novel set in her birthplace, New Orleans, Louisiana. She will one day write full-time and run an alburgues on the Camino de Santiago.

Wendy Lerner Lym

Wendy Lerner Lym works as an English Professor at Austin Community College.  She published a few poems back in the 1990s, and most recently was a finalist in the Writers’ League of Texas Manuscript Contest for Historical Fiction and the winner of the Texas Observer Short Fiction Prize for 2017. She lives in a hundred-year old house in Austin and is currently writing a novel set in her home town.
